Position Overview:

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be directly involved in providing essential accounting and tax support to our clients, helping them navigate complex financial matters with confidence. This role is designed to provide you with real-world experience and a deep understanding of public accounting, with opportunities for skill development and mentorship from an experienced CPA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis & Record-Keeping: Assist in reviewing bank transactions, statements, and reports, categorizing them appropriately within the general ledger, and contributing to the preparation of financial statements.

• Tax Preparation: Collaborate with the CPA and its team to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses. Training will be provided.

• Research & Compliance: Conduct research on current tax laws, accounting standards, and regulations to ensure client compliance with industry rules.

• Client Support: Provide exceptional client service by responding to inquiries, assisting with document requests, and supporting clients with general accounting needs.

• Software & Tools Utilization: Gain experience with key accounting software, including QuickBooks, Excel, and tax preparation tools, to streamline processes and enhance your productivity.

• Team Collaboration & Professional Development: Work alongside a talented team, participate in training sessions, and contribute to ongoing learning initiatives to further your accounting career.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

• Active pursuit of CPA certification (USA) or existing CA Intermediate (BD) level is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles, GL and Balance Sheet accounts.

• Eagerness to learn, proactive, and willing to contribute to team efforts.

Compensation & Employment Terms:

• Salary: A competitive salary will be provided to the qualified candidate.

• Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6 PM.

• Payroll: Processed bi-weekly with direct deposit.

• Notice Period: At least 2 months' notice required before resigning.

• Confidentiality Agreement: A strong commitment to confidentiality is a must; the associate will be required to sign an agreement to safeguard sensitive client data.
